Our goal goes beyond providing the best quality medical images — we keep compassion and humanity alive in healthcare.
We are dedicated to providing a comfortable experience, excellent patient care and the highest image quality available for diagnostic imaging purposes. Our radiology technicians are certified with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologies (ARRT).
MRI appointments can typically be scheduled within a few days. We can usually accommodate same-day X-ray exams – please instruct your patients to call us as soon as possible for availability.
Within 12 to 24 hours of scan completion, reports by board-certified radiologists are available online along with access to the highest quality images available for diagnostic testing purposes.
We also offer CD and film scan delivery upon request.

Debbie Arnold is the operations manager at University Medical Imaging. A native of Sacramento, she graduated from San Diego State University with a bachelor’s degree in business management. Mrs. Arnold has always had an interest in business. She has owned and operated small businesses and holds a CPA license. Mrs. Arnold has been with University Medical Imaging since its doors opened, and finds it very fulfilling to be able to provide quality medical services to the community.
Away from work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends, going to fitness classes, hiking, fishing, traveling and tending to her garden in the summertime.
Jill Collins is UMI’s field account manager. She brings more than two decades of sales management and marketing experience garnered from former corporate “Fortune 100” employers with highly recognizable names and products. Ms. Collins is originally from the Bay Area, but has been proud to call Sacramento her home for the last 10 years.
Ms. Collins is a graduate of Trinity University, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from there in Business Administration and Finance.
Ms. Collins enjoys spending time with family and friends, especially her 6 grandchildren. She enjoys attending the theatre, all forms of travel and fine dining. Connecting with UMI clients is the thing she enjoys most about her position at UMI. She is proud to say that most are more than clients, they’re friends!
Frances has worked in the design and digital marketing space for over eight years. As her career in marketing has evolved, she has applied her marketing skills in the automotive, agricultural equipment, medical, and legal industries. Frances is skilled and certified in several Adobe applications, Facebook Blueprint, Salesforce, social media marketing, reputation management, content marketing, digital design, and Google AdWords. Additionally, she has had the opportunity to train onsite at Google headquarters in several educational labs.
Frances Siria came to University Medical Imaging in 2021 to support its continued growth, with enhanced audience reach and patient engagement utilizing integrated marketing campaigns and solutions.
When not at work, Frances enjoys spending her off time with her husband and four children. They are an outdoors family that loves to camp, bike, hike, kayak, and fish—her favorite place to hike is in the Sierra mountains, especially in and around the Yosemite National Park.

Anna Miracle is the supervisor at University Medical Imaging. She has over 12 years’ experience in the medical field, with the last 10 years being specifically dedicated to MRI/XRAY. In the office, she loves working day to day with her staff and loves making sure her patients have smiles on their faces.
Away from the office, she enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends, traveling both near and far especially to tropical locations – anything outdoors.
Robert Smith began his career in diagnostic imaging as an X-ray tech in 1988. His first job was in a fast-paced trauma center, where he gained extensive experience. He progressed from X-ray into the field of computerized tomography (CT). Mr. Smith worked for more than 10 years with CT imaging before moving to magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in 2006.
Mr. Smith joined University Medical Imaging in 2008, where he has enjoyed working with the facility’s state-of-the-art 3T GE scanner.
Sally Gomez is a front office assistant for University Medical Imaging. Born and raised in Sacramento, Ms. Gomez graduated from Western Career College as a Medical Assistant in 1999. Her first medical position was with a family practice office, eventually moving on to work for US HealthWorks, NIA and Blue Cross of California.
Ms. Gomez enjoys caring for UMI patients and helping them feel at ease. She finds that her compassion for people and bilingual skills are essential for assisting patients.
When not at work, Ms. Gomez is a busy mom of five, always on-the-go. Spending time with family is her top priority and especially likes attending her kids’ soccer games and going to watch movies with them.

Megan Stark is a front office assistant at University Medical Imaging. Customer service has long been the focus of Ms. Stark’s career, which has included management roles at a renown cosmetology academy and a major cosmetics retailer.
Ms. Stark was drawn to the medical imaging field out of fascination for how the technology contributes to patient diagnosis without being invasive or painful. She finds helping people and providing a pleasant experience for our patients rewarding and appreciates working where the staff functions as a team.
Ms. Stark is a native of Stockton, where she enjoys swimming, hiking, and camping with her two teenagers during the warmer months. In cooler weather, they prefer to watch movies and play video games together. Ms. Stark also enjoys sewing and cooking for fun – and occasionally still does hair and make-up as a freelancer!
Melissa Kamekona was born, raised and addended schooling here in Sacramento, Ca. Melissa graduated high school at Natomas Pacific Pathways Prep. During her early years she developed a heart for serving others her community by cooking and serving food at Loaves and Fishes. Melissa’s childhood love for playing soccer readied her to be an exceptional team player.
Melissa’s over 7 years of previous work experience included service-related positions at major retailers, public service, and food service. Each opportunity taught her the skills of working well with co-workers and the joy of assisting others.
Melissa thrives in this environment where she can interact with people all day long. She is a welcoming presence here at University Medical Imaging.
Her inviting communication services have made her a quick fan favorite around the office with staff and patients.
Melissa’s top priority at University Medical Imaging is to make sure patients are satisfied and well taken care of when visiting us here. During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and playing soccer… still.

Joanna Lee started her medical career as a Certified Nurse Assistant for an agency, eventually becoming a patient dialysis technician. While waiting for the nursing program, she observed x-ray techs at the hospital walking around shooting portables, inspiring her to apply for the radiology program. She got into the Fresno City College radiology program class of 2021. Her path through the various healthcare professions gave her the heart to ensure every individual has the quality care and services they need, such as educating them about the procedures and providing diagnostic x-rays.
In her search for employment in her chosen profession Joanna came across an ad for a position at UMI and applied on a whim. Wanting to be in an environment where she could get additional training in MRI, she was glad to find a position that suited her at UMI and gladly took it. The staff here at UMI warmly welcomed Joanna. She is delighted to have chosen to become a radiologic technologist at University Medical Imaging. Joanna has become a key staff member at UMI taking x-rays and assisting the radiologist and doctor in arthrogram procedures. When not at work, she likes to shop, eat at new restaurants, hike, go to the gym, read, and hang out with her fiancé. She loves to read books, find new recipes, and cook.
Hannah Roberson grew up in Northern California, surrounded by a large family. Even from an early age, she has been intrigued by discovering what persuades people to do the things they do.
This curiosity led her to pursue education and skills in communication, marketing, and design. She became a social media marketing intern with Sweety High Media in 2021. She aided in the development and execution of media campaigns for both up-and-coming and well-established musicians. Throughout this internship, she discovered a passion for storytelling.
In May 2022, Hannah became a first-generation college graduate with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations at Azusa Pacific University. Shortly after, Hannah joined Arnold Law firm’s marketing team. She works closely with VP of Marketing Frances Siria. Her favorite parts of the job are planning events, regulating/managing client experience, and creative design development.
She enjoys spending time with her friends, family, and dogs in her free time. Hannah takes any opportunity to travel, be outside, meet new people, and explore new places.
Joanna Fahey is a dedicated professional born and raised in the Sacramento area. She graduated from Lincoln High School and embarked on a career path of serving others. With a strong foundation in customer service cultivated from her first job at 16, Joanna has always been committed to positively impacting her community.
Joanna’s love for spending quality time with her family, friends, and beloved fur babies is evident in her warm and caring demeanor. She enjoys outdoor adventures, whether soaking up the sun, camping in nature’s embrace, or traveling to new destinations. As an outdoors enthusiast, she also thrives on the softball field, enjoying the competition the sport brings.
Currently serving as a front desk professional at University Medical Imaging, Joanna has found her niche in the healthcare sector. Embracing her role enthusiastically, she takes pride in providing exceptional service to patients and colleagues. Thriving in her new career, Joanna cherishes the sense of belonging within her work family.
